Update [11-12-08]:

We've updated the profile's "Some of my favorite things" section with 75 questions so people to get to know you a little better. The questions are fun to answer and once, you start answering them it's hard to stop :) You can see the list of questions by going on your profile and looking for the "view my answers to the fun-survey" link. Click on the link to see the questions. You can start answering them by logging in and clicking the "edit" link for the "Some of my favorite things" section.

Update [11-04-08]:

You may now view your old postings in the view posting history section of "My Writings." To view your old postings along with the reviews or critiques they've received:

1. Click on "My Writings" link at the top of the site.
2. Under the "Options" column click on the "-select-" menu.
3. Click on "View Posting History" option.

This will take you to the page that will display the postings history. You may click on the postings title to view the current or old posting. Enjoy!



Update [10-13-08]:

When you post your writing you may now choose to post it for "registered members only." This option is available on the posting page. Enjoy!

A new way to read on Chapteread!

Hello,

We have updated the site with a new paging method. The best way for you to know what I'm talking about is to go try it out, choose a posting that has more than one page and click through the page numbers. There are some issues that need some 'ironing out'; please standby as we are working on fixing the errors. Please respond to this posting if you have a any issues. Thanks and have a great day! Hi everyone!

You may have already noticed that there are three new areas on the site:

1. Looking for critiques area: post your drafts here if you'd like to receive critiques.

2. Completed works area: post your finished writing here if you'd like to receive reviews.

3. Looking for publishing area: The only writings that will enter this area are the ones that are voted in from the completed works area. The readers and writers have backed your work by voting your writing into this area as a piece of literature that they would like to see published.

Note: We are working on a demo today that will explain the new areas in further detail. Send us an email if you have any questions. Enjoy the updates and have a great day!!

Hey!

This morning you have:

1. A new "My Feedback Stat" page on your profile.
2. My Chapteread page: has new updates, you'll notice them when you login.
3. My Writing page: you can now add multiple chapters to your book all at once.
4. Preview your entire book on one page [chapters and all] in your private writing area.
5. Authors can leave feedback to the critiques and reviews they receive.
6. On your profile, your friends list and on the "Authors and Readers" page you'll see your friends and fellow writers online.

What's next you ask?

1. You'll have the option to post your completed works for a longer period of time. [approx. 2 months].
2. The posting page will be updated and made easier.
3. Reading the works on the posting pages, should be fun and easier with our new idea!

1] Dress your critiques and reviews with smiley faces!! :)

2] You will now receive a message in your inbox when:

a. your posting receives a critique or review.
b. when you receive a reply to a critique or review that you gave.
c. and when comments are posted on your profile.

Next we are expanding your feedback page. Hope you enjoy the changes and feel free to let us know what you think by commenting to this post. Have an awesome day!

What we are working on next.

We have been planning and programming new sections. They are still being worked on. But I would like to give you a sneak peak.

* You will be able to post and showcase complete works permanently, [there is no end date].
* Writers will be notified in their "My Writing" section when a work has received a critique or review.
* Readers will be notified in their "My Writing" section when they receive feedback on a critique they gave.
